About
Making cricket accessible to all
With roots tracing back to 1850, Leatherhead Cricket Club has a rich heritage and a thriving presence in the community. The club offers a welcoming environment for adult and junior cricketers to play, be coached, and develop their skills. Our mission is to inspire both current and aspiring cricketers - adults and children alike - by making cricket accessible, enjoyable, and safe for all.
“The club has seen remarkable growth in recent years, with membership now at an all-time high of 400.”
Known for nurturing talent, the club provides junior players a clear pathway to adult cricket, as reflected in our 1st XI team, which largely comprises homegrown talent from our successful junior teams.
The club has seen remarkable growth in recent years, with membership now at an all-time high of 400.
In 2024 the club fielded 29 teams across the adult and junior sections, including two women’s teams for the first time in the club’s history.
Our junior section has been particularly successful in broadening participation, drawing many state educated children and a growing number of girls, who regularly play in mixed and girls’ teams across various age groups, including our U21 Development and Sunday social teams.
